Sallisaw NOW organizes and promotes youth coalitions within Sallisaw Public Schools, Central Public Schools and Gans Public Schools. Contact us for more information on how your student can get involved with one of these coalitions.

The Sallisaw Now Coalition: We proudly serve our community with substance abuse prevention, training and recovery resources. 

Safe Medication Storage

Secure your prescriptions away from children or other household members or room-mates with a Sallisaw NOW Lock Box. Lock Boxes are provided at no charge. To inquire about a Lock Box, visit our "Contact" page or come pick one up at our offices in Sallisaw.

Prescription Drug Disposal

If you have unwanted prescription drugs and want to dispose of them safely and responsibly, we can provide you with disposal bags. Simply drop your unwanted prescriptions into the bag, seal and dispose. Request a form by visiting our "Contact" page or visit our office!

Drop Off Drug Disposal

If you're not comfortable disposing of your prescription drugs yourself, we also provide several drop boxes around our community. See our drop box locations below, drop them off and we will gladly take care of the disposal process for you.

The Sallisaw NOW Coalition has partnered with Stericycle and local law enforcement to offer Sequoyah County residents with multiple Drug Takeback Drop Sites.
